Position

Intern

Counseling at Hope Mountain is more than just a jo, it’s a mission. We’re tired of seeing people fall through the cracks in the mental health system. We ache for people who've been shuttled around by the system, shoved aside, or even ignored.

We are here to stand up and stop that pattern. We’re here for those who’ve struggled to get the help they need from traditional channels. We’re motivated and inspired by the fact that those people are relying on us in a big way.

Are you looking for a chance to make a difference in your community?

Hope Mountain interns have a few things in common. They are passion-driven, self-motivated, compassionate individuals looking to grow their skillsets. They are excited about our company’s vision and look for ways they can humbly grow their capacity to serve the underserved.

Our Internship program works to help you gain experience working with diverse populations in individual therapy, case management, note-taking for Medicaid, homeless shelter outreach, and work-life boundary-keeping; while building professional development.

We offer free group supervision, individual supervision, and note-taking office hours with our skilled and compassionate LPC-Supervisors. This is an independent contractor position where you set your hours and build your caseload.
